Hi, my name is Marco Solazzi and i was born on 1st October 1979 in Verona Italy.

I've always been interested in computers, above all on all the musical, graphical and interactive applications of the PC to express human creativity.

After gaining a 3 year university degree in Communication Sciences in Reggio Emilia, I started exploring the world of web reaching till now good skills as webmaster (check some of my projects) and improving my knowledge in Internet Human Communications.

Beside this I'm still improving my first "digital passion" for electronic music, the first mean of my passion for Internet and PCs.

I start composing in 1995 with Scream Tracker 3; then, in 2000, i started composing with Impulse Tracker 2. And yeah... i am one of those still waiting for Impulse Tracker 3 :P In the meanwhile I'm trying to do my best with opensource projects like 64Studio :D

Musically, I grew listening dance music, especially the kind of dance composed between 1995 and 1997. I love that Progressive sound! Later i open my mind to other kind of music, from light to metal, but my deepest feeling of love is always electronic music, which expresses at best my darky and so 90s soul.

Apart from my computer hobbies (which take me a lot of time) i like climbing and skiing (till i can, looking at italian climate problems!), rambling in the nature, and travelling to pleasant countries (like the Netherlands and Belgium ;P ).

For those curious about it, the nickname Dwight Jack came out in the late 90s as an artistic alias for my trance productions, and then became, as DWJ too, my "digital nickname" taking me through my Internet experience from the far away period of the "just english" web till now.
